After having some concerns about quality of the electrical installation to my sheds, I contacted CG Electrical who then sent out an Electrician to me to have a look. He inspected everything and subsequently told me it was unsafe. He talked me through everything that was wrong with it and put it into layman's terms for me so I could clearly understand what the issues were and everything he said made perfect sense. The inspection and quote was no fee and no obligation and as soon as everything was agreed the electrician was back as soon as possible to suit me to get the work done. The work itself went above and beyond my expectations despite him being aware that it was only a shed and I wasn't too fussed on how it looked. The price was definitely more than fair, especially for the job undertaken. Overall, I have no complaints whatsoever and will definitely be contacting CG Electrical with any further electrical needs. Can not recommend these guys enough.

I contacted Connor last Friday at the very last minute! I was hosting a dinner party and wanted some new pendant lights installed to go over my dining table. Connor was extremely helpful and managed to fit us in for a quick, diagnostic visit within an hour of my initial telephone call, quickly identified the part that needed replacing, sent me an order link shortly after that, then, when the part arrived a couple of days later, he found time to pop in that afternoon and complete the work. Very satisfied with his work and approach and would recommend him highly.

Messaged Connor around 4pm as we had a baby bird stuck in our extractor fan. He turned up half an hour later, went into the loft (on one of the hottest days of the year) to save the trapped bird. This is not a job within his usual line of work but his experience of extractor fans made him confident in rectifying the issue. The goldfinch bird was taken to a wildlife rescue home and is now being looked after until it is ready to be released. Completely professional, handled with care and turned up out of hours to be a hero, will definitely be returning for any other services.

Conner (CG Electrical) came round in no time at all to view the job and a few days later the parts were delivered an Conner came round the same day and upgraded my electrical trip box then connected up our new induction cooker. Installed a new light switch, disconnected old appliance, rewired three other switches. It was pleasure doing business with CGE. Very friendly and prompt during quotation and did the job on the promised time, quietly and with minimal disturbance. While he was installing switches, disconnecting electrical shower, i could continue wfh with only 2min downtime!

Not only was CG responsive taking the night call but also helpful in asking me to take a picture of it and continued to stay in touch when I struggled somewhat at first to upload picture. Clear price advice for night call charge versus daytime lower charge from 7am which I chose the latter and CG was on time as the first call out to replace the alarm. Very impressed and have recommended to our Managing Agents of our block.

I have had CG Electrical out on 2 occasions, once to install an outside socket and the second to replace a water damaged light fitting. Both times Connor was very punctual, helpful and professional. On the second visit to chnage the water damaged light fitting he arrived within half an hour of me calling... Within 10 mintues of him arriving the light was changed and working again. All in all a very good experience dealing with this company, would highly recommend and will definitely be using them again!
